Construction and trades

Artificial intelligence in a construction business

The quote is prepared in the evening, after the site. The client, meanwhile, has called someone else during the day. The problem is not the trade, it is the office time.

Your day, today

  • The request arrives while you are on site: it waits for the evening or the weekend.
  • The prices are in a spreadsheet nobody else dares to touch, which makes it impossible to delegate the reply.
  • Follow-ups depend on someone's memory, so some of them are lost.
  • The phone rings while your hands are full, and the client without an answer calls the next one.

Your day, once the system is in service

The request that arrived during the day
It is already read and attached to the right client when you get home.
The quote, ready to reread
Filled in on your price list and your terms, it only waits for your reread.
The follow-up, scheduled in advance
Scheduled the moment you approve.
The telephone, while you are on site
A telephone reception answers from your documentation and books the appointment in your calendar. You reread each call in the evening: the transcript, and the appointment made.

The questions we are asked

My prices are in a spreadsheet I built myself. Is that a problem?

No. The system works on your files as they are; nothing needs re-keying before starting.

There are four of us. Is that too small?

The diagnosis puts a figure on it, and it can conclude that it is: on a few quotes a month, the automation would not earn what it costs.

The limits of the system

No quote goes out without your reread. The system does no measuring and does not price a job: it uses your price list, it does not assess a site.
