Hosting

You decide where your data is processed, and we install the system there.

The software runs the same way in all five places; what changes is the law that applies to your documents. If you have no hosting, we can provide it on our own hardware, in Switzerland. If your data must not leave your premises, we can install a server there.

The server is in your building: your documents are processed on your own network, and no third party can receive an access request. We can choose and install the server; you can lease it, or buy it before the work.

Our roleYou host; we can install the server and supervise it remotely.

Its costThe server, leased or bought, electricity and space.

Our hardware, in Lausanne

Your data stays in Switzerland, under Swiss law. Each client has its own installation, its own network and its own storage there, backed up every night.

Our roleWe host, and we keep the system running.
For whomSwiss companies, and European companies for whom Swiss law is suitable: Switzerland holds an adequacy decision from the European Commission, and a transfer from the Union is lawful without further formality.
Its costOur maintenance schedule takes precedence over yours.

A Swiss host

Infomaniak, Exoscale, Swisscom: a contract under Swiss law, data under the Swiss data protection act, and no company subject to United States jurisdiction.

Our roleWe install and keep the system running; the hosting contract is yours.
For whomFiduciaries, law firms, healthcare, and any matter where hosting must be Swiss in writing.
Its costA narrower catalogue of services than the large providers.

A European host

OVHcloud, Scaleway, Clever Cloud, Outscale in France; Hetzner, IONOS in Germany; Aruba in Italy. European law, the GDPR, and for some a SecNumCloud qualification.

Our roleWe install and keep the system running; the hosting contract is yours.
For whomCompanies required to host within the Union, public procurement, tenders that require it.
Its costPrices vary from one provider to the next, and from one year to the next.

An American provider

AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud. The CLOUD Act lets a United States authority request access to your data from the provider, wherever the servers are: the European region of a data centre does not change the law of the company that owns it.

Its costThe law that applies, and nothing else.
